When I think of popular culture, I think of everything that society creates that the majority of the population does, wears, etc. For example, the style of clothing around this time of year would be leggings, boots, and scarfs. Facebook and Instagram are social networks that would be considered popular culture, because the majority of our population uses these social networks.
In a business environment, popular culture would be the way businesses go about with their businesses. The technology they use, the way they promote or advertise their business, or the company performs their services.
The iPhone 6 would probably be the most popular artifact currently, because it was introduced and everyone knew it was out. Over the next few months, people will switch their phones out for this new iPhone.
