Written Analysis III

Heros

A hero is a word that means a lot to people. A hero could be something as complex as someone that saved your life, or as simple as just helping you solve a problem. There are many different forms of heroes and heroines in the world, and everyone has their own, or maybe even a couple. 

In popular culture, there are many different heroes created in movies, shows, video games, etc. The main heroine of my childhood would be Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. Dorthy's house lands on the Wicked Witch of the East in Munchkinville and immediately becomes a hero to all of the munchkins. Dorthy continues to become more of a hero as she meets the Lion, Tin Man, and Scarecrow on her way to see the Wizard of Oz by following the yellow brick road.

Dorthy invites the Lion, Tin Man, and Scarecrow to embark on her journey to help them find what they need. Once they get to the Wizard she helps the Lion receive courage, the Tin Man get a heart, and the Scarecrow get a brain, all before meeting her needs to returning back to Kansas.

Dorthy put others needs before her own even though she was lost and just trying to get back home. This was a very simple story, but provided the perfect lesson for a young kid.
